This 4.2% Golden Ale, Brewed with Premium Malt and Hops to give it that Biscuit malt character finishing off with a Melon and Tropical Fruit flying in the Background. This beer was named after the  Vadie Raye, a B-24J Liberator based at Seething.

The Vadie Raye was attacked by enemy night fighters over her own airfield in April 1944. With an engine ablaze and fuel lines shattered, she began to fall. Until a crew member held the broken pipes together, feeding enough fuel for the pilot to land on the runway. To avoid blocking it, the pilot veered into nearby fields, where the crew member was thrown out and dragged beneath the aircraft. Remarkably, the aircraft stopped safely, and every crew member survived to fly again.
